Russian Federation: Decision of 1994 of the Prime-Minister of the Government of Moscow on Improving Work Related to Refugees and Forcefully Displaced Persons

Date of entry into force: 1994

In connection with the need of regulating migration flows, taking onto account a special status of Moscow, the capital of the RF, and the interests of the inhabitants of the city:

1. it should be decided that pending the realization of the statement of the Government of the Russian Federation N 1021 dated 08.09.1994 "On Measures Aimed At Avoiding And Reducing Uncontrolled External Migration" on the territory of Moscow there may be registered only refugees and forcefully displaced persons who have got permanent re is ration according to the statement of the Government of Moscow and of the a ministration of the Moscow region N 51-8 dated 04.02.1992 "On Unified Order of Registration And Discharge of the Population In Moscow and Moscow Region" and according to Regulations on unified order for procedure of registration and discharge of the population in Moscow and Moscow region.

2. the decision of the Premier of the Government of Moscow N 656-RP dated 14.04.1994 "On Activities Related to Account and Registration of Forcefully Displaced Persons and Refugees" and paragraphs 1. 1, 1.2, 1.3 of the decision of the Prime Minister of the Government of Moscow N 1621-RP dated 5.09.1994 should be considered not valid.

3. the Deputy Prime-Minister of the Government of Moscow V. A. Korobchenko shall be responsible for monitoring of the present decision.
