Concerns joint mission to investigate massacres and other atrocities carried out in the territory of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, in accordance with Commission on Human Rights resolution 2000/15; notes that deployment of the mission has been prevented due to insecurity prevailing in the province of South Kivu, and that the Special Rapporteur will give an update at the time of the oral presentation of his report (E/CN.4/2001/40) to the Commission on Human Rights.
