The Regulations were made under the Extradition Act 1988 and entered into force on 25 June 2004. This compilation was prepared on 14 October 2009 by the Office of Legislative Drafting, Attorney-General's Department, Canberra, taking into account amendments up to SLI 2009 No. 267.
