This document contains the eighteenth and nineteenth periodic reports of the Islamic Republic of Iran, due on 4 January 2006, submitted in one document. For the sixteenth and seventeenth periodic reports and the summary records of the meetings at which the Committee considered the report, see documents CERD/C/431/Add.6, CERD/C/SR.1596-1597 and 1610. In accordance with the information transmitted to States parties regarding the processing of their reports, the present document was not edited before being sent to the United Nations translation services.
