This is the official consolidation, with the amendment made by Act No. 3 of 5 January 2016. A Constitutional Amendment Bill was introduced in 2019 (Bill no. 10 of 2019) but has been withdrawn. On 23 May 2025, the Constitution of Zambia (Amendment) Bill (Bill No. 7 of 2025) has been introduced (see link under 'related documents')
