Unofficial transcript. This is an outdated text: Section 2 has been amended by the 2006 Protection of Women Act, According to which, in section 2, after clause (vii) the following new clause has been inserted, namely:- “(viia) lian; Explanation. – Lian means where the husband has accused his wife of zina and the wife does not accept the accusation as true.”
