UNHCR intervention before the House of Lords in the case of (1) Hamid, (2) Gaafar and (3) Mohammed (Appellants) v. the Secretary of State for the Home Department (Respondent)

The case was joined to that of Januzi (a Kosovo Alganian from Mitrovica, who arrived in the UK in 1998 and whom the UK government asserted had an IFA/IRA in Pristina, but who now suffers from depression) at the last minute, with the possibility of a UNHCR intervention in Hamid only arising on 16 December (the Court of Appeal judgment in the latter case dating from 25 October 2005).
