YEREVAN – Armenian officials say three Armenian servicemen were killed when gunmen shot at a military vehicle along the border with Azerbaijan early on April 27.
It was not clear if the gunfire came from the Azerbaijani side.
The incident took place two days after a village in the same region came under fire from Azerbaijan.
No one was hurt in that attack.
Armenia and Azerbaijan remain locked in a dispute over Azerbaijan's breakaway, Armenian-populated region of Nagorno-Karabakh.
On April 24, two Karabakh soldiers were injured when a sanitary vehicle belonging to the Defense Ministry of the breakaway region came under fire from Azerbaijan.
