Comments The original Act received Royal Assent on 29 March 1995 and entered into force on 28 August 1995, save for sections 1 and 2, which entered into force on the day of the Assent. This compilation was prepared on 31 March 2006 by the Office of Legislative Drafting and Publishing, Attorney-General’s Department, Canberra. The text of any of those amendments not in force on that date is appended in the Notes section. The operation of amendments that have been incorporated may be affected by application provisions that are set out in the Notes section.
