Please find attached copies of sections from the report on military accountability published by the Washington Office on Latin America in 1989. This report provides the most comprehensive overview of the military justice system in Guatemala currently available to the DIRB, and has been used as a reference in a number of human rights reports produced by Americas Watch and other organizations.

Information that adds to or updates the attached report could not be found among the sources currently available to the DIRB.
