Attached please find Sections I and II of the first part of the Constitution of Ecuador dealing with nationality and citizenship issues respectively.

According to a Consular officer of the Embassy of Ecuador in Ottawa, no changes have been made to these sections since the constitution was published in the Government's official Journal on 12 June 1984.
