Country Reports 1992 states that "[t]here have been reports of Bangladeshi women being lured into travel to foreign countries, where they are often sold into prostitution" (1993, 1126). The attached three articles provide information on girl-trafficking in Bangladesh.

 This response was prepared after researching publicly accessible information currently available to the DIRB within time constraints. This response is not, and does not purport to be, conclusive as to the merit of any particular claim to refugee status or asylum.
