Comments	The original Act received Royal Assent on 6 December 1986 and entered into force on 10 December 1986. This compilation was prepared on 1 January 2010 by the Office of Legislative Drafting and Publishing, Attorney-General's Department, Canberra. The operation of amendments that have been incorporated may be affected by application provisions that are set out in the Notes section. The Australian Human Rights Commission Regulations 1989, made under this Act, entered into force on 1 January 1990.
