| Comments | Crown copyright 2010. The Order was laid before Parliament on 12 January 2010 and comes into force in accordance with Articles 2 to 4. This Order amends the First-tier Tribunal and Upper Tribunal (Chambers) Order 2008 and creates, inter alia, two new chambers for the purposes of the transfer of functions of the Asylum and Immigration Tribunal to the First-tier Tribunal and the Upper Tribunal. Cases previously heard by the Asylum and Immigration Tribunal will now be heard by the Immigration and Asylum Chamber of the First-tier Tribunal or the Immigration and Asylum Chamber of the Upper Tribunal. |
