Comments The case was joined to that of Januzi (a Kosovo Alganian from Mitrovica, who arrived in the UK in 1998 and whom the UK government asserted had an IFA/IRA in Pristina, but who now suffers from depression) at the last minute, with the possibility of a UNHCR intervention in Hamid only arising on 16 December (the Court of Appeal judgment in the latter case dating from 25 October 2005).
