Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych
Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has appointed a new cabinet following the dismissal of the previous government after October's parliamentary elections.
Decrees published on the Ukrainian presidential website on December 24 say Finance Minister Yury Kolobov and Interior Minister Vitaly Zakharchenko have both been reappointed.
Leonid Kozhara was named as the new foreign minister while Pavlo Lebedev becomes defense minister.
Eduard Stavitsky was named as energy and mining minister.
Outgoing Foreign Minister Kostyantyn Hryschchenko was named vice premier.
Former Energy Minister Yuriy Boiko also becomes vice premier and Serhiy Arbuzov becomes first deputy prime minister.
Gennady Titov will oversee regional development, construction, housing and utilities. Natalya Korolevskaya has been named minister of social policies while Oleh Proskuryakov becomes minister of the environment and natural resources.
Ukraine's parliament approved the reappointment of Prime Minister Mykola Azarov on December 13 in a session that saw lawmakers exchange punches.
