Intergovernmental Conference on Emergency Telecommunications
An intergovernmental conference on emergency telecommunications (ICET 98) took place from 16 to 18 June 1998 in Tampere (Finland). The aim of the Conference was to adopt a Convention on the provision of telecommunication resources for disaster mitigation and relief operations.
