The Director General of the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) stated in 21 January 2003 correspondence that the official Gabon delegation to the 2001 IAAF World Championships in Edmonton were:

Antoine Boussombo (athlete);

Richard Damas (official);

Sylvain Dynam Lindzondzo (official);

Anaclet Mathieu Taty (official);

Amelina Lindzondzo (trainer);

Marie Madeleine Rissonga (trainer);

Maud Damas (trainer).

Information regarding the Gabon national track and field team members who attended the Francophone Games in Ottawa in 2001 could not be found among the sources consulted by the Research Directorate.
