The Research Directorate was unable to find current contact information for the Musavat Party nor information concerning Musavat membership cards or letterhead among the sources consulted.

Attempts to contact the party have been unsuccessful. On 13 November 2003, the party was evicted from Shahriyar Culture Centre (located on Azerbaijan Avenue or Prospekt [Political Parties of the World 2002, 33; Eurasianet.org n.d; Zerkalo 14 Nov. 2003; Europa 2003 2003, 628]) and forced to move its headquarters to a new location in the Binagadi district of Baku (525ci Qazet 14 Nov. 2003). Contact information for this new address was not found among the sources consulted.

This Response was prepared after researching publicly accessible information currently available to the Research Directorate within time constraints. This Response is not, and does not purport to be, conclusive as to the merit of any particular claim to refugee status or asylum. Please find below the list of additional sources consulted in researching this Information Request.
