According to the attached 9 May 1997 letter from the Ahmadiyya Anjuman Lahore in Lahore, "There is no branch of Ahmadiyya Anjuman Lahore in Qatar. There may be some individual who has no contact with the Head Office."

Information on a Qadiani Muslim community in Qatar could not be obtained from the Ahmadiyya Movement in Islam–Canada in Cumberland, Ontario, within DIRB time constraints.

This Response was prepared after researching publicly accessible information currently available to the DIRB within time constraints. This Response is not, and does not purport to be, conclusive as to the merit of any particular claim to refugee status or asylum.
