Iraqi officials say that gunmen with silenced weapons killed five people in two attacks in Baghdad on August 26.
Police say that in the first attack, gunmen in a moving vehicle opened fire on a police patrol in the capital's northeastern, predominantly Shi'ite neighborhood of Ur.
Two police officers were killed and a third was wounded in the early morning attack.
Several hours later, gunmen killed three private security guards working at an amusement park in eastern Baghdad.
Security forces and government offices are top targets for insurgents seeking to undermine the Shi'ite-led Iraqi government.
