Boris Tadic
Serbia's former President Boris Tadic says he will seek reelection as the leader of his Democratic Party despite losing the presidential election in May.
The Democrats on September 8 scheduled an all-party vote for November 10, when they will choose a new leadership, including the president.
Tadic says the party is at a "crossroads" and needs to reorganize following the defeat in May, which paved the way for the return to power of nationalists who had ruled Serbia during the war years in the 1990s.
