Authorities in Pakistan said at least seven soldiers were killed and two wounded when a roadside bomb hit a paramilitary convoy in Pakistan's northwestern tribal region along the Afghan border.

The incident took place in a marketplace in the Bara area.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attack yet, but the Taliban regularly target government officials and civilians in the area.
