Please find attached a copy of Chapter VII of the Constitution of Dominica ("Citizenship"), which outlines the conditions under which the child of a Dominican parent can be considered a citizen of Dominica. The excerpt includes article 102 entitled "Interpretation," which describes certain terms and considerations which could apply to a question of citizenship, and the subsequent constitutional chapter ("Chapter VIII: Judicial Provisions") that explains procedures for questions of constitutional interpretation and appeal.
According to information provided by a consular officer at the High Commission for the Countries of the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) in Ottawa on 10 March 2003, children of a Dominican parent are eligible for Dominican citizenship.
