| Comments | Crown copyright 2010. The Order was made on 6 January 2010 and comes into force on 15 February 2010. Article 2 of the Order transfers the functions of the Asylum and Immigration Tribunal to the First-tier Tribunal, created under Part 1 of the Tribunals, Courts and Enforcement Act 2007, and abolishes the Asylum and Immigration Tribunal. Article 4 effects the transfer of the Asylum and Immigration Tribunal (Procedure) Rules 2005 and the Asylum and Immigration Tribunal (Procedure) (Fast-track) Rules 2005 so they will have effect as if they are Tribunal Procedure Rules. |
